There are three parts to Joe and his love for entrepreneurship. The angel, the advocate and the thought leader. You can learn more about each part below.
The Startup and Small Business Angel
Joe is a serial entrepreneur (BOSI – Boi) who started his first company at age 23. Since then, he has been involved as a founder, executive or advisor in the startup and growth of over 20 companies in industries ranging from IT and healthcare to sales training and motorsports. For the better of two decades, he spent time in the trenches of starting up, funding, growing and selling companies. In 2004 after selling his last company, Joe set out to take his knowledge, resources and global rolodex to help innovative startups and promising small businesses achieve success. As a business angel, Joe gets involved with companies at three levels.
1. Free weekly office hours for advice and problem solving with entrepreneurs.
2. Fee and revenue-sharing based help through En Corpus.
3. Equity-based relationships for qualifying ventures.
The Advocate for Free Enterprise
Entrepreneurship can only thrive in an environment where free enterprise is truly free. Free from government intervention. Joe is an active voice in the marketplace through the following medium.
1. Expert to the media on the topics of entrepreneurship, small business and government policy
2. As founder and chief evangelist at Entrepreneurs for Conservative Values.
Thought Leader in Entrepreneurship
Having been around and studied entrepreneurs for the better of two decades, Joe has innovated ground breaking new concepts in entrepreneurship and business development.
1. B.O.S.I. Entrepreneurship (pronounced bossy entrepreneurship). The authoritative study of the four different types of entrepreneurial DNA that manifest themselves in business owners.
2. F.I.T.T. Business Development. A proprietary business development engine that can be installed in any business to generate highly scalable growth.
3. The next generation of Chambers of Commerce: Joe is working on coursework to help Chamber Presidents and Chamber Boards re-invent their mission, purpose, operation and marketing plan. The old way simply isn’t working. This step-by-step guide helps them prepare, execute and thrive in the new digital eco-system. You can read some of the preliminary work here.
Joe is an avid soccer fan (and marginal player). He lives in the northwest Chicago suburbs with his wife and two sons. You can connect with Joe on facebook or twitter.
